Yavapai Humane Society
Where Every Animal Counts
Rescuing 3,000+ animals every year
Serving Yavapai County since 1972, Yavapai Humane Society is a no-kill independent nonprofit that shelters, rehabilitates, and adopts out cats, dogs, and horses. Our organization consists of 4 facilities; Adoptions/Intake, an Equine Center, a public Spay/Neuter Clinic, and a Thrift Store!
We serve 100’s of pets each month! Every donation you make helps take care of a person’s new companion to be. Yavapai Humane Society is passionate about finding forever homes for the 3,000+ animals we rescue each year. When you opt to adopt, you’re giving these animals another chance and a new life.

Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to promote and protect the health, safety, and welfare of companion animals. We are committed to ensuring that every companion animal in our community has a great home and is well cared for all of its life.
Give because every animal counts!
Through the generosity of friends like you, our lifesaving programs help 3,000 pets and their people all throughout Yavapai County each year. Your gift to Yavapai Humane Society helps us shelter cats, dogs, and horses in need, preparing them for adoption with behavioral treatment, spay/neuter surgery, medical care, a microchip, animal enrichment, and more.
